INTRODUCING

Vincent Hein

Vincent Hein is an elder law attorney serving families throughout Wisconsin with compassion and experience. His practice is focused on helping seniors, individuals with disabilities, and their families plan for the future with confidence and peace of mind. Vincent assists clients with Medicaid and long-term care planning, asset protection, estate planning, special needs trusts, and probate and estate administration and litigation, and this has been Vincent’s focus since 2014.

Vincent was on the board of directors and was the articles editor for the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) Journal. He is a current member of the Wisconsin NAELA chapter. Vincent has done countless Medicaid crisis plans and has drafted hundreds of revocable, irrevocable, and special needs trusts, wills, and powers of attorney. Vincent has also litigated over 250 disability cases, along with probate and trust disputes as well as will contests.

Vincent earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and his JD/MBA from Marquette University. Prior to law school, Vincent worked as a financial advisor and English teacher. Vincent was also co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of a startup that sold to one of the largest online estate planning startups in the country. One of Vincent’s first jobs after law school was as an attorney at General Electric Health Care (GEHC) where he oversaw contracts for the sale of health care goods and services.

Vincent is licensed to practice law in the state of Wisconsin, but practices Social Security Disability in all 50 states and U.S territories as it only requires the attorney be licensed in one state to do so. As a result, in addition to Wisconsin, he has advocated for disabled clients in California, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, and New York.
